music1618 879 Posted December 18, 2013 Yes your muscle breaks down, but you should not feel it. If you are having pain like that it could be dehydration. Talk to your doctor.

ajustice 484 Posted December 18, 2013 Js anyone experience calf pain bilaterally? I find my muscles hurt. I will be speaking to my doctor tomorrow but I think my muscles are being broken down. Anyone else experience this? How long ago was your surgery? Are there any pink/ reddish discoloration on the calf? Any warmth? Those things could be a sign of a blood clot. Not trying to be an alarmist but I am a nurse. If you are pretty recent post op u should definitely have this addressed as it could be a dangerous situation. If the things above are listed please don't wait and head to your nearest ER. Please promise me you will have it checked.

AutumnPunkin 313 Posted December 18, 2013 So far there are no manifestations of DVT or compartment syndrome. My only thoughts are that I may be developing rhabdomyolysis. I have not seen my doctor yet, I speak with him tomorrow.
