all4gizmo 2 Posted December 17, 2013 I Was banded in 2009 lost 175 pounds then had my gall bladder out, went thru a divorce, and a whole bunch of other stuff. My last fill was in 2011, I've had 3. I have some trouble with certain foods getting stuck. Since having my gall bladder out and starting birth control to regulate my cycle I've gained 15 pounds. I know I should go back for a follow up with the MD, but I can't get another fill.. If I do the food will not go down so I don't know how much help going for a follow-up will be.. I've tried going back on liquids and soft foods for 2 meals and my diet hasn't changed much so I'm not really sure what to do here. I'm concerned! Has anyone else had these issues? If so how do I get out of this slump?? I still have about maybe another 60 to 80 pounds that I would like to lose. 1 kll724 reacted to this
SandyM 1,956 Posted December 17, 2013 Are you chewing properly? Are you making good food choices? Are you logging? There are alot of thinks to be considered here. Getting stuck doesn't necessarily mean you are already tight enough. It just means the food won't go through and you have you slipped into the habit of eating sliders as a result of it? I've found that I can do that if I'm not really careful. 2 kll724 and Sherlock1969 reacted to this
all4gizmo 2 Posted December 17, 2013 I have 2 different logging apps on my phone that I was using to log every bite of food and water.. Think I'll try using them again.. I'm just concerned about gaining all that I've worked so hard to lose..
kll724 3,055 Posted December 17, 2013 all4gizmo. I too have struggled with a little weight gain since having a revision surgery. I have 5 cc in my band and can't tolerate more. I have had to readjust my food intake and mind. Try joing myfitnespal and logging your intake and exercise, it is helping me! Best wishes, Karen,,aka..kll724 2 Sherlock1969 and SandyM reacted to this
