MisFit 10 Posted December 17, 2013 I am one of the fortunate post-op VSG patients (6 days) who has breezed through this process. I've been amazed that I have not struggled much, except with low energy and little endurance. My daily shower wipes me out, and I need a brief nap afterwards! Late yesterday afternoon, I learned I could begin my full liquid diet! Immediately, my thoughts turned to some of my favorite foods and how I could adapt them. I've been craving vegetables! All through the night, I dreamed of various concoctions, and this morning when I woke I had a plan. I took a can of Campbells Savory Vegetable Soup, blended in my Magic NutriBullet with some additional beef broth, 2 scoops of unflavored Protein and Pampered Chef''s sun-dried Tomato herb seasoning, and other spices on hand to taste. YUM! I'm interested in learning about other's adaptations of on-hand products, as well as some of your favorite recipes for both the full liquid diet & pureed foods. Has anyone pureed chicken or turkey in a recipe? I'm craving meat too! 1 chefcoll reacted to this

I have a lot of high Protein full liquids recipes on my blog, www.sleevers.worpress.com These include lobster bisque, chicken and mushroom Soup, tortilla soup, egg drop soup, chocolate "mousse", pistachio pudding etc. It's the only way to get through the post-op without hating Protein Shakes for the rest of your life if you ask me 1 MisFit reacted to this
