1Day1Life4Now 882 Posted December 22, 2013 Maybe its just me but I don't think it is ever TOO MUCH INFORMATION ...in this forum anyway. This is all stuff we need to hear and share. Its not like anybody else would understand our feelings about these things. Its so nice that people can be themselves .... we all have anxiety and well, it just holds us back from living our lives. Thanks to all of you who are willing to put it out there for the rest of us. 5 RJ'S/beginning, gourmetone, JeanZ_RN and 2 others reacted to this

BrantS1976 243 Posted January 14, 2014 As a man who has had WLS, I just wanted to share that the confidence thing happens to men as well, and losing almost 70 pounds now has had a positive effect on my confidence when it comes to getting naked. I once read an article that said for every 35 pounds a man was overweight, he lost one inch of length down there. Having now lost almost 70 pounds, I am happy to report that losing the weight has the opposite effect, which has me feeling much more confident as we can get into other positions that my wife likes that we could not before. 8 sophiepants, newat52, LouiseC and 5 others reacted to this

Indigo1991 1,612 Posted January 30, 2014 AR40, not sure I like looking at me either - but it didn't put off the one now referred to as the Naked Hottie, lol!!!!
SparkleCat 521 Posted September 8, 2014 Well, after 3 years on my own following the break up of a 30 year relationship, at the weekend I finally got naked with someone I have lusted after for years.... He didn't run away screaming at my wrinkly, saggy bits. I took my clothes off - ALL OF THEM!!!! And the world didn't end, he didn't laugh and I didn't die of embarrassment. Something for me to add to my list when people ask how my sleeve has changed my life - I can do naked :-))))))) Sorry if is is tmi, but I actually never thought at 52 that I could throw my clothes off with such abandon and without stressing -oh how I love my sleeve! Had my first post sleeve tryst and immediately thought of this thread! It was a revelation to just enjoy and not be constantly thinking about my body! FedUpwithBeingFat 28 Posted September 8, 2014 @@Indigo1991 Hi....we have about the same amount to lose. How long did your doc recommend for Pre-op liquid diet? Mine said between 7-10 days.......trying to decide what to do.
Indigo1991 1,612 Posted September 22, 2014 FedUpWithBeingFat, sorry been off the site for a while - probably too late for an answer - but will give it to you anyway, lol! I did 14 days but not on a liquid diet. It was a food plan designed to shrink my liver... Hope you are already well under way with your weight loss already :-)))
