powder room?

Recommended Posts

So where is the womens powder room?? I dont know where to put my question.

My question is for the ladies. I went to buy a bra today because mine just seem too big around. The bra specialist (lol) measured me at a 44F or 44G....

Before surgery I was a 52DDD

I told her I had surgery so how can my cup size have gotten bigger. She said as I lose weight in my waist my bust size increases....

Anyone experience this problem? Dont get me wrong im happy my boobs havnt gotten smaller but it was a little weird to buy such a big bra

Yes, this is normal. Had you been measured previously or was that an estimate you had given yourself through your own fitting? You are losing some back fat which will give you a smaller number size, but there is some skin tissue that will be considered part of the breast tissue until all of the shrinking and bounce -back is complete.

Hope this helps. :)

And, congratulations!!

I will ask the BariatricPal host who is in charge of the powder room to move your post to that section.

Your post has now been moved to the powder room area.

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
