After reading so many different outcomes and experiences., I'm not sure what to expect. I can't find these Unjury shakes anywhere! Any suggestions?

i think I will have sashimi and steamed broccoli for my last meal. Sounds good to me! Wow you have lost so much in such a short period of time. What happens if you have some wine at a New Years party???

Good luck! I hope that you have an easy surgery and a smooth recovery. :)

I would run New Year's wine past my surgeon, if I were you, since you will be so newly banded and still healing and on whatever post op diet he/she has their patients follow. :)

Thanks y'all. Really excited. Just worried about getting back to work! And the gas pains. When you take the gas x, how exactly does the gas get out of you?

Walking is the best way to get the gas out. Walk as often as you can tolerate. Gas pains for me lasted about about 4 days although we're all different.

Everyone is different...and I found that post op the Gas-X did nothing to help me with gas pain.

What DID help me was to walk laps around the inside of my house. I was advised by my surgeon to move a number of minutes for every hour I was awake to minimize the chance of post op blood clots developing in my legs.

Good luck...and best wishes for a successful weight loss journey.

Good luck! I had my surgery on Friday the 13th (lol) and gas pains for me lasted just the one day. I kept walking circles around my kitchen table. However for me the gas pains were INTENSE and VERY painful and I was in a hurry to see them go. Also I had my oh so kind brother rub the area that hurt the most, which was my back, and that may have dispersed it. I was told by my doc not to bother with GasX as the gas is AROUND your organs not inside your stomach, therefore don't bother. But that's just what he said. Good luck and remember that the first initial jolt after being banded will pass and your body will heal!!

Stay with the love that led you to intervene with weight-loss surgery and you'll be ok.

Remember there are stages you go thru and things get better as the days pass.

The worst part for me was being on Clear liquids for 2 weeks post surgery. Those first several weeks of healing are extremely important -- so pay attention and follow your surgeon's orders. It's what will give your body a good, solid foundation for the whole rest of your journey.

Amazon.com hasa lot Protein products and they are cheaper through them. although a lot of ppl like what they find at costco. do not be embrassed to let off gas. especially in the hospital. as girls we are brought up not to let off gas. but in this case it is most beneficial. my nurse in the hospital said it was music to her ears. it means your intestines are working. when you are put under anesthetia, it makes your intestines go to sleep as well. so gas is a good thing actually. but walking and drinking Water and Hot drinks will help as well. good luck on surgery you are going to do fine. we are here to help

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
