aneke26 4 Posted December 16, 2013 Hey there, I am 3 months post op and things have been going very well but in the past 2-3 days I get really severe pain in my stomach after having a coffee in the morning for an hour up to 2-3 hours. Georgia 2,908 Posted December 17, 2013 Are you on any acid reducer like Priolosec? Is it ONLY coffee? As Laura said, if it is creating pain for 2-3 hours, I'd stop drinking it for a while and see if you can get the "flare up" settled down and contact your Dr. immediately.
