MindiJean 93 Posted December 14, 2013 I already mentioned mine, but here it is again: pureed eggs, pureed chicken, pureed tuna, pureed turkey, Greek yogurt, cottage cheese. 2 onedaycloser and _imgood_ reacted to this
LindafromFlorida 1,542 Posted December 14, 2013 I have found that if I take a small bite of food and chew it forever and a day it works. I am talking 1/4 tsp bite at a time. My doctor said mash cottage cheese with the back of a fork. But I am eating such a small amount it is hard to puree. Same with 1 egg I scrambled this morning. Almost 1 month post op and no problem. 1 onedaycloser reacted to this
DevilBlueDress 189 Posted December 15, 2013 Some of my favorites were puréed lox with plain Greek yogurt and puréed chicken from Tom Ka Gai Soup. Molly

MindiJean 93 Posted December 15, 2013 I would start slow and bland, just pureed chicken. I did simple pureed one ingredient dishes for two weeks. Tomatoes, once I started them, made me sick. I wouldn't go adding anything. Just pureed chicken with salt and pepper.
chanelle102 173 Posted December 15, 2013 Okay will do before I add anything I was trying to get in as much Protein as possible
caroline2 89 Posted December 15, 2013 You will probably need to continue with a few shakes a day until you are able to eat more and get Protein in through food. Puréed meats were hard on my tummy at first. I did a lot of cottage cheese, Greek yogurt, Refried Beans with melted wedge of laughing cow cheese, sugar free pudding and my favorite, lime green Jello. 1 nancy264 reacted to this
