elleinfl 17 Posted December 19, 2013 Knt4ever. Fortunately I had the morphine "button" when I woke up in recovery and I was so glad. I in a lot of pain but after pushing the button 3 or 4 times I was very comfortable. My pain was managed very well while I spent one day hospitalized. Once I came home I took Vicodin as needed. The pain was not bad at all. I described it as like being punched in the stomach. It only lasted about 4 days. Best of luck to you. How did you take Vicodin. They say I have to crush the pills and drink with Water. Is that what you did?
JeanaLuvsKisses 110 Posted December 20, 2013 (edited) I just swallowed it whole. I never had any issues. I'm almost six months out and am taking Vicodin for my broken foot. I still don't have any issues with taking any pills. I'm even thinking about trying Vitamin capsules once I run out of the chewables.< /p> Edited December 20, 2013 by JeanaLuvsKisses

jrhancher 1 Posted December 22, 2013 Wishing you all my best, your posts are encouraging to us all especially us pre-ops. It is nice to hear all the little "tricks" to great health after surgery. It seems as though from what I have been reading from your posts that eventually after surgery in time you will make a fantastic mentor with all your experiences, I say this because I see your compassion for others in your posts and it is greatly appreciated. Good luck. 1 knt4ever reacted to this

Merry Christmas to you too and thank you. The military in me comes out with using "Operation ........" knt4ever 137 Posted December 26, 2013 Just took the dreaded "Before" pictures.........wow. That is the reason I avoid being in pictures the last couples years, because I didn't want to see reality. About to go to sleep and wake at 0430 to get ready to get the tools to change my life. 1 longroad34 reacted to this
