Yes, very common. Don't worry about it, just keep following the instructions.... you will get there!

9 pounds in a week doesn't seem like "only" to me! Seems huge! CONGRATS!

Nine pounds is a lot of weight to lose in a week! I gained 8 pounds from the surgery and it took a couple weeks to get that off. You will be fine, keep doing what you're doing.

Wow. 9 lbs! WTG! When was the last time u lost 9 lbs in 1 week? It will lessen with time so u might want to get ur weightloss into persepctive. 9 lbs in a week is phenomenal!

Just like the contestants on The Biggest Loser - and they work out like 10 hrs a day!

You're doing great. "Only" 9 pounds - are you kidding me!?!? ;-)

Just stick with the plan your doctor and/or NUT gave you - the weight and inches will come off.

I have a love/hate relationship with my scale, so it only comes out once per week.

Best of luck to you!

It's crazy you mentioned the biggest loser. In one of our group sessions a guy was there who was actually on the biggest loser season 3. He lost 130 pounds and gained 100 back. So now he's back to do the sleeve with my surgeon.

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.
