Stacy_wls 135 Posted December 13, 2013 My surgery was yesterday. I had a really rough night - started throwing up blood in the recovery room. I just had my leak test and there was a concern about one place. They just came in for a follow up video extra on my stomach. I was feeling better but now I'm getting really nervous. .. Did anyone else have the follow up video exray?
TurnThePage 220 Posted December 13, 2013 Try to relax and let the professionals take care of you. They know more about your specific situation and appropriate care than anyone on an internet forum. Best wishes! 1 ProudGrammy reacted to this
Jill105 29 Posted December 13, 2013 First let me say I'm sorry to hear you're having such a rough time! I know you're scared but you are with professionals who can help you. Take it day by day and hopefully this will just be a bump in the road. I wish you the best!! 1 DeezJeanz reacted to this
BladeFox 235 Posted December 13, 2013 Pray for peace while the professionals do what they do. Also, pray for divine intervention with the doctors. Prayer can change things.
Fixerupper 335 Posted December 13, 2013 I actually had to have another surgery the second day to look for a leak. They needed to open me up. No leak was found but there was Fluid so they put in a drain which was fine. I heaved and threw up all night the first night but by day three felt so much better. Praying that you have a speedy recovery and start feeling better soon. Please keep us posted.
Stacy_wls 135 Posted December 13, 2013 Thanks everyone! After the third X-ray they have cleared me and I'm onto the Water trails. 1 Fixerupper reacted to this
Roo101769 742 Posted December 13, 2013 I too threw up all kinds of blood post op. They said not to worry, it is left over from the surgery. I had a bit of problem with anesthesia and pain killers. ( could not wake up and very nauseas) Both passed. I pray you don't have a leak and that you recover quickly. Chin up!
Stacy_wls 135 Posted December 13, 2013 Well I am back home from surgery, so I think everything should be ok. I am having abdominal pain, but trying to get in enough liquids
