Make sure to drink your Protein and drink your Water. That was one thing that I have had to learn the hard way. I seem to be hungry but when I drink some liquid, I realize that my body was really thristy. I have a hard time telling the difference so I am training myself to not eat until I have consumed X amount of liquid. My dry lips are thanking me for this as I was dehydrating myself. Good luck hon! 2 BBdoodle and elli'smommy reacted to this

Just stick to the plan. You're probably still on liquids right? Drink those Protein Shakes, plenty of Water, sf Popsicles, Decaf tea and coffee. Tell us a little more about what's going on with you. Maybe we can offer more advice or tricks to get you through this tough patch. Breath! It's going to be ok. Peace. 1 BBdoodle reacted to this

jerzeygirl81 37 Posted December 13, 2013 Yes...we all know how you feel. And at times I've given in and eaten and suffered the consequences. Try to distract yourself when you feel like that. And remember we are trying to eat to live not living to eat!

P/S i need people to help me boost up not people to critize me or judge me please. So if u r ready to attack me just exit my thread. I need help!!! Hi there. I have no intention to attack you and I certainly NO ONE would on this tool/link. We should all be a support to each other. I had the lap band for 7 years. I no longer have it and I am doing RYGB in 5 days. I am guessing you are "tight" with your current fill now. Perhaps that is what is making your not being able to take Vitamins the issue? I am guessing you might be having issues with either the size or the texture (dryness) of the pills themselves? An option would be to go liquid or chewable/gummy. Check with your doctor on your options. I would say drink TONS OF Water even more that you might be already. If you are 200 pounds drink half your body weight in Water daily, in oz....so 100 oz. You can convert that to accomodate your current weight. That water will help you in the hunger deptartment. Also, if you think you are stressed (which it sounds as though you are), try to do something to lighten your stress level. sleep, walk, talk, type on here, journal, volunteer, chew gum etc. it may be that you are just so frustrated and stressed that everything is tight and swollen inside and your band is responding that way. I hope this passes soon and you get the benefits from the band/tool that you are expecting... 1 Rhyzell reacted to this

deaddemmama 474 Posted December 13, 2013 Mushy and liquid stages are hard...at three weeks I was so ready for anything with texture. I ate a lot of spicy foods and then my first bite of real food was Nirvana. You got this! Hang in there.

I found the three weeks in was the hardest for me. You may do better of you stay away from everyone when they are eating so you don't feel so bad and tempted to eat real food. It won't be long now you'll be on more textures. Be patient w yourself. This is all new and 90% of it is psychological. Hugs!
Truckerchic 171 Posted December 13, 2013 I wasnt allowed Vitamins til my 4th week, chewable once again every plan is different. I had my first egg at 2 weeks and it was like heaven lol but remember these stages are for a short time (I know feels like forever) and keep yourself busy head hunger can play a number on you 1 elli'smommy reacted to this

I am on Flinstones chewable my 15yr old takes them like candy but me I dislike the taste of them, when I try taking them right away i feel nauseus just to get a little taste. Even the disolvable B6/B12 i cant tolarate the cherry taste to them anymore. I do try to stay away from my family when they r eating n they also try to eat when I am eating or after I eat so that they dont tempt me with their food n i am doing pretty good with staying strong but sometimes its just so hard on me.
