kyleebean 209 Posted December 12, 2013 I'm 15 days post lapband revision to sleeve. I'm not in any more pain so I'm not on any pain medication. However, I cannot sleep at night. I already take a sleeping pill and anxiety pill but nothing is helping. Anyone else experiencing this? Suggestions?
jdmama911 224 Posted December 12, 2013 Yes I dealt with the sleeplessness post op for a couple of months. I really didn't get back to normal until I started eating more normal, and working again. Even now (sleeved 9/11) I still have nights of not sleeping. Give it time and try to burn off more energy (if possible) during the afternoon.
Jill105 29 Posted December 12, 2013 I am too. It doesn't matter what I take, I can not fall asleep. If I do its for maybe an hour then I wake up again and it goes on like that all night. It's awful!!
kyleebean 209 Posted December 12, 2013 I CANNOT stand this. It's making me so moody and I'm so tired. I am only 2 weeks post op (from a really difficult surgery) Things are still a little tender and I have to take it easy. Walking is my only option but I live in Wisconsin and its been like 5 degrees the past two days. I did go to the gym and walk about 20 minutes on the treadmill but then I was wiped..... Would have thought I could have slept, but no.
Jill105 29 Posted December 12, 2013 I'm 9 days post op so I definitely still have some moments of tenderness. I might bring this up to my surgeon when I see him next week. You would think walking would help!
