Well I woke up this morning and lost 2 more pounds. So I guess my body has helped me decide. I am going for 218 now. Thanks everyone for the kind words!

Wow, I can't even imagine saying "yep, I lost 200lbs!" CONGRATULATIONS! You have done a phenomenal job working your sleeve. Is it work? Yep. Is it worth it? Yep...a million times over!

I just have to ask...was your screen name because you were having a hard time deciding to go forward with the sleeve? And if so, maybe it's time to change it...just saying! :D

First thank you!

Actually the sleeve is one of the only things that I was decisive on. Other parts of life for me I can be indecisive about though. I have used this screen name for years on other boards so I just keep it around I guess.

Well that is good to hear. I was like you...once I learned about the sleeve there was no turning back. I *knew* it was right for me!

Clearly my weight loss has slowed down but I hit 218 this morning so that is officially 200 pounds gone since my highest weight. 200 freaking pounds people!!! Craziness!

Now down 205 total. 149 since surgery. So as you can see a considerable slow down. I am wondering where it will stop...

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.

I would like to know what questions you wish you had asked prior to your duodenal switch surgery?
