ELoo 0 Posted March 15, 2007 Dr. Ortiz just banded me 4 days ago and I feel great. I am so glad I chose him as my surgeon. The whole experience was great. Even my skeptical husband was very impressed. I am a nurse, so believe me I was checking everything out! Everyone speaks good english too. Dr. Ortiz doesn't really even have a spanish accent!! I would highly recommend going to Mexico. He also has a book on Amazon.com call Lap-Band for Life. Reading that gives you a little insight on the whole experience. Hope this helps.
