Mel1976 47 Posted December 9, 2013 Well...surgery is Tomorrow. I am getting more and more nervous. I know that I am doing the right thing, but I am worried about the kids being without me for 3 or so days. I know that their dad will be here with them, but I still worry. I have spent most of the day cooking meals so they all eat good while I am gone.

LuminousLife 145 Posted December 9, 2013 You'll do great Mel! I have 2 toddlers. I sent them to stay with a relative for a week so my husband could care for me and not get too stressed. I don't know young your kids are but if they are young you may need some more time when you get home. Maybe your husband could set up a day or 2 away so you can recoup with him. Regardless you will be great. Precooking meals is smart! Sending a prayer your way. 1 Mel1976 reacted to this

They are all prepared for mom having to take it easy. If my kids were younger I would send them to my parents for the week. I think it is going to be nice to have them around while I recover. The good thing is they are going to be on winter break soon so they will be here to help.
