What should I be doing to prepare and what is the average recovery process like how many days/weeks?

Are you on a pre op diet now? Do you know how long you will be in the hospital? I am 3 1/2 weeks out and at about 80% normal but everybody is different. I am able to drink a lot more fluids now thsn in the first few weeks. I went back to one or Protein shakes a day to beef up my Protein numbers because I was not losing weight and my nurse said that would help.

This is major surgery you have to expect sveral weeks to get tot your new normal.
