MindiJean 93 Posted December 15, 2013 I ordered whatever I wanted off the stage one menu. Most of the time it was three tiny bowls, and usually it was pureed egg, pureed chicken and Greek yogurt.
Fluffnomore 1,235 Posted December 15, 2013 I didn't get anything in the hospital. I was in overnight; nothing the first day except swabs, and then the second day after my leak test they brought a cup with Water and a medicine cup to measure out ounces. That's it. I went home around 12 that day.

Simpley_ke 201 Posted December 15, 2013 My trays had 1 bowl broth, 1 popsicle, 1 Jello, 1 bottle of Water with packet of crystal light. I hated all of it but tried a bit of each to see what I could tolerate. That's crazy , I definitely like all of those things !!
AtlantaRed 651 Posted December 15, 2013 I don't do artificial sweeteners, so I didn't like it. broth was ok. Crystal light was ok but they kept bringing me lemon and my mouth was already so dry, the tartness made it worse.

Simpley_ke 201 Posted December 15, 2013 Um, most people have to eat pureed Protein for a few weeks. So what was the consistency of it and how'd it taste ... I definitely get sick off of consistency and smell and taste ... Like how was it cooked? Like baked then blended ?
MindiJean 93 Posted December 15, 2013 it tasted like pureed egg, chicken and regular greek yogurt. pureed to a pulp. I think it was one ounce? Add salt and pepper.I don't know anyone who has had the sleeve and not eaten pureed for a while. You can't go straight to regular food. Even now, I'm on soft food, only what I can cut with a fork. Last night's dinner was 3 ounces of baked chicken thigh, cut into tiny pieces and then chewed to a pulp.
AtlantaRed 651 Posted December 15, 2013 I don't have a pureed phase. I have one week full liquids, 3 weeks soft foods and at 5 weeks anything. I probably won't advance that quickly but I'm allowed to.
