I'm 6'1 and my surgeon told me 200lbs and he'd be happy but I'm shooting for 190. I want the wiggle room lol

I am 5'11 and now I weigh roughly 185. Before I was sleeved in 2012 I was 300 at my highest.

So I'm not sure if I have shrunk but I was 5'11....I'm going to say I'm 5'10.....my brain is fried.

I'm at my lowest weight now of 180lbs. Wearing size L or XL tops (14-16) depending on the brand/cut and am wearing a size 12 or 14 jeans.

Goal is still 165. 1 year anniversary coming up on 8/17.....we shall see.

I'm the opposite! I grew to 5'11 apparently at my last doctors appointment. (To be fair this was the first time I've actually been measured...I always assumed I was 5'9 and 3/4). lol

I just reached 177lbs and am finally in the normal BMI range which is amazing. I was 340lbs at my highest weight. :)

I'm shooting for 170lbs.

Wish this topic would be more active lol. I'm 5'11 and highest weight was about 266; on the verge of high blood pressure and high sugar levels, always tired, no energy. I've been overweight my entire life and every time I lose, I gain back. I've tried all diets, lifestyle modifications, gym, crossfit, diet pills...nothing. The most I lose is 20lbs and then it creeps back on. As much as I was against surgery, it was my last resort and I'm scheduled for 12/27/17. I'm ready for the ultimate lifestyle change of being healthy and genuinely happy. My main goal is to be in onederland! First small goal would be 215, then 185, and the ultimate goal would be 160!! I have not seen any of those numbers since elementary school.

Hello all, I'm 5'10" and currently weigh 295. I have high blood pressure, osteoarthritis, and I am pre-diabetic. My goal weight is 180 and I don't remember when I was in that range. A little intimidated by what I will look like at that size. But excited about how I will feel.

5'10" here. My HW was 301 in July 2016, SW was 271 on 12/30/16. I'm currently bouncing between 188 and 190. My surgeons goal is 170-175 with about 5 pounds of bounce back. I would love to get to 170 and maintain.

I'm currently in a size 10-12 and a medium top from a 22W and 2XL. I've also lost a shoe size.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
