D_Carrimko 18 Posted December 8, 2013 (edited) Hi my name is Desi, I live in the Northern Territory Australia. I was born and raised in Melbourne and moved to the USA in 2000 and moved back in 2010. I am 36 and a stay at home mum to 3 children 10, 9 and 7 months and happy wife of 13 years to my darling hubby. I am flying to Melbourne in 9 days to have surgery on the 20th with Dr. Paul Burton of lapbandaustralia.com I am a bit nervouse BUT a lot excited. I am Star Wars crazed and love cake decorating, cooking and baking. My Fitness Goal is to run a 5K next November and my Weight Goal is 135lbs (61 kilos) or to reach a healthy BMI. Her success story is quite remarkable, and from her posts I can tell she is someone who truly undrstands how the band works, and how to listen to it...not just a lot of "Positive sayings", but practical living.....
