DynamoMini 1 Posted March 15, 2007 Good luck on your surgery. Mine is scheduled April 16th. My doc doesn't require a liquid preop diet, but I think lots of Proteins.< /span> Best wishes and a speedy recovery with weight loss,

gafarhamand 0 Posted March 15, 2007 Hi, My name is Gloria and I'm from Richardson, TX. I had my lapband surgery a week ago today. I am now on the full liquid diet. However, even with following the 2 oz. an hr rule, I still feel hungry. Is this normal? Am I doing something wrong? Any comments? :help:
niecyrenee 2 Posted March 15, 2007 Gloria, that is completely normal. Your band is empty and it is designed to work best with fills. Besides, liquids go right on through so you won't have a full feeling. I know it's hard but you can make it through this. You will notice changes after you get fills. It may take more than one so don't get discouraged. Also, remember the first 6 weeks are for healing so if you don't lose weight, don't get down. Anything lost during that time is a bonus. I hope this helps. Welcome to bandland!!
