Hi guys. Had surg the 22nd of November and I was just cleared for soft/puréed foods. I'm allowed to have chili - I want to put a little shredded cheese on top to amp up the Protein but I have heard people sometimes have an issue with the stringy texture after the cheese melts. Anyone want to offer insight?

i am a lap bander, sorry for intrusion, but i added shredded cheese to my chili

on this phase (my dr okay'd it)...i went slow, chewed well..

Thank you! I gave it a try today and not only was the turkey chili and cheese the best thing I've had in weeks, it went down really well too :) I appreciate the feedback.
