terrydumont46 1,954 Posted December 4, 2013 it shouldn't be long. or it wouldn't be considered preop blood work. i think surgery should be scheduled within 3 days of preop orders. now if you are being tested for all the other things . i had 15 vials of blood taken out of me for the baseline on all minerals, electulytes, Vitamins etc. and had to start vit. d 5000units because i was low on that one those tests were 2 months before surgery.
