RSifers 39 Posted December 24, 2013 My surgery is January 16th. I am 33, and I live in Colorado. I have 4 kids and have always struggled with weight issues. I am nervous and excited and would love to network, support and build friendships with other people who are making a huge lifestyle change. I know its going to be one of the biggest challenges I have ever faced. How are you guys feeling about it?
slinkielovin 58 Posted December 24, 2013 I'm very determined and excited to work my way down to my goal weight. I didn't think I had weight issues until I was 15. That's when I started to get picked on and laughed at. I am going to take this challenge on and accomplish it!!! 1 MzEboni912 reacted to this
turquoisekaty 23 Posted December 24, 2013 @ RSifers - I also feel like this is going to be the challenge of a lifetime! I'm nervous, but excited and hopeful also. Have you January bandsters been telling people? I've been telling lots of friends and family about the procedure. The more people that know about my surgery, the more people I have in my "army" to support me. I'm going on vacation in a couple days, and at the end of my vacation I start the pre-op diet. What a start to the new year! 1 memebear reacted to this
bikeryder 9 Posted December 24, 2013 I just got my date! I asked for Jan 16th so I could have a long Martin Luther weekend to recover. I got my date...whoo hoo! I wanted to connect with others for this time frame. So excited can't wait. I also will get the lap band on this day as well. 1 blueturtle reacted to this

desertpixie 76 Posted December 26, 2013 Happy Christmas everyone. Isn't it great knowing how different Christmas next year will be for us all? Am so excited. Nerves are really kicking in now. My op is on the 4th. Am I the first one of us to do it? I still can't quite believe I am going to do this. It's bonkers. But I am so excited for the results, I know me and this lapband are going to get on well together. 2 MzEboni912 and blueturtle reacted to this

pjones00 13 Posted December 26, 2013 New Years new life. Getting banded on Jan 7th. Have you all decided/ found a Protein supplement you enjoy? 1 MzEboni912 reacted to this
msirish 68 Posted December 26, 2013 I have found (haven't tried yet) Isopure drink. It is about 46% Protein. Found in Vitamin shops for about $5. It looks like green tea in a clear glass bottle. Hope that helps.
