shungsleeve 62 Posted February 7, 2014 I have pain every time I drink or eat anything no matter the temp! Will this pass? When? I'm 4 days post OP. HELP It will pass slowly. I'm almost 5 weeks out and that feeling is pretty much gone. But I do have it from time to time.
StaceyVSG 47 Posted February 7, 2014 It will pass slowly. I'm almost 5 weeks out and that feeling is pretty much gone. But I do have it from time to time. Yes it does pass! I still get pain sometimes, but I am only on my second week out, but it's getting better. We just have to remember our stomachs are healing and just went through a huge trauma. Just stick to the plan!
LivingForGod 111 Posted February 7, 2014 I had my VSG on 1/31. Went to the dr today and have lost 18lbs since surgery. I've lost 27lbs total. 9lbs from pre op. QUESTION... I was moved to full liquids today. So im able to eat mashed potatoes. I ate some but I never got that full feeling. I ate maybe 6 very small spoon fulls then I stopped. I just didn't want any more. Is it normal not to actually feel that "FULL" feeling??

Dani.o.dani 67 Posted February 7, 2014 My full feelings aren't at all what I'm used too. I just eat a little bit and then I try to pick up the fork and at the bottom of my sternum a little flutter whispers no more. It's a very light and faint feeling and I just don't want anymore either. So I stop. Idk what full feels like to others, but that's how it feels to me.
