Just out of curiosity...is an ice pack or heating pad better on the incisions?

Hi Purple monkey!

They ar great docs, you will do just fine. As for your question, ICE PACKS!!! Not only have they halped with the swelling but also numbs he area and reduces the pai tremendously. Even a shower with colder Water rather than warmer has helped soothe the area. On the 4th and 5th day I could feel the "battle wounds" healing because they started to "tickle" or itch. That's when you know there are scabs starting to form, and the ice packs have also helped with that, because it justs numbs it.
