livvsmum 2,369 Posted December 2, 2013 So I was feeling kind of discouraged today and decided to go back through my blog looking for a picture I took about 1/2 way through my pre-op requirement process. It was at my highest weight (same as I was on day of surgery on 9/12) and I just happened to catch a glimpse of myself in the bathroom mirror at work and thought, "I better get a picture of this because i want to remember how terrible I look". When I found it today I put it side by side with my 2 month post op pic (taken 11/12) and I was stunned at the difference. I am still not where i want or need to be, but I'm feeling better about myself today! I LOVE MY SLEEVE! 3 soonerorlater, meamo and jessiejess reacted to this

livvsmum 2,369 Posted December 2, 2013 No, no,no... I am TOTALLY happy! It's just hard when you see yourself everyday...you know? I still see the very same person in the mirror most of the times. Sometimes it takes putting the pics side by side to remind myself of how far I've come. :-) 2 gamergirl and Bigbeaz reacted to this

Roo101769 742 Posted December 2, 2013 Girl....seriously??? Wow. Not trying to be a negative meany but you look like you gave birth! You have very little tummy left from before to after! You may live with it and not get to appreciate it as someone who doesn't see you, ( I totally get what you mean) but DANG!!!! You are doing an absolutely fabulous job and should be immensely happy and proud of where you are. At this rate you will be next to nothing in no time....A BIG congratulations on how far you have come!!!! 1 livvsmum reacted to this
