Dumb Question Regarding Chike Protein Drink

Recommended Posts

OK so I just received my container of Chike Protein coffee powder, and it didn't come with a scoop. I have used this mix before but it came in packets, all the directions say is mix one packet with milk or Water, well how the heck do I measure that out?!?! I believe the packets are 36grams but no idea how that translates to tablespoons. Any help would be appreciated.

There should be a scoop! You may have to dig to the very bottom of the canister to find it though. If there really isn't a scoop, call Chike and they will send you one (and maybe a free canister of Protein, who knows). If I were you I would weigh the Protein Powder on your food scale to get 36 grams of it. If you don't have a food scale (btw, unsolicited advice, get one! Every post-wls person should have one IMO) then my guess is that 5 - 6 tablespoons is about the equivalent of 1 packet or 2 scoops of Chike coffee. Good luck!

I agree with Bufflehead - you probably have to dig deep. Grab a fork or a knife and go fishing for the scoop.

I also agree that a kitchen scale (digital) will be of great help. I use mine multiple times during the day.

BTW, I'm jealous - I need to buy more Chike! Love that stuff.

Here's a chart with measurements/equivalents.....

But, I would definitely dig deep for that scoop and then call them if it isn't in the canister.

Looks like I need to dig some more, I did one quick pass through but I was short on time this morning. And I agree the scale is a must and that's on my list next to purchase. I have been using other utensils to and eye balling the meat(or just whatever I can actually get in!)
