gamergirl 4,610 Posted December 1, 2013 Is it a muscular pain or a piercing stabbing one, like a nerve pain? A lot of people found odd aches and pains when they started to lose weight. But generally, you shouldn't be feeling pain 10 days out. i would suggest you call your doctor and see what they think. Why take a chance, right?
*susan* 1,709 Posted December 1, 2013 I agree with gamergirl, better to be safe than sorry. Give your doctor a call.

gamergirl 4,610 Posted December 2, 2013 Not muscular...its in my middle-high back...Thanks So two possibilities suggest themselves but I'm not a doctor so.... One is nerve pain, the other is gas. Ten days out seems too late for gas pain. But it's worth trying some gas-x and a heating pad tonight. And then do pls call the doctor tomorrow. You should be healing these days and it's hard with pain, isn't it?
Brighteyes 237 Posted December 2, 2013 First, contact your doc. I have dealt with back pain for a long time. I was three weeks post op when my back went out again. I see a chiropractor. His thought was with loosing weight my body was readjusting to how I was carrying the weight. Adjustments have always been the best thing for me. 1 gamergirl reacted to this
HardWork13 83 Posted December 2, 2013 Not muscular...its in my middle-high back...Thanks. I'll be 6 weeks tomorrow. I've had what sounds like the same middle upper back pain! Asked dr and he wasn't sure what it was either. Could be from hernia repair, he also loosely thought gall bladder. Thinking of heading to chiropractor... gamergirl 4,610 Posted December 2, 2013 My husband was sleeved with me and has lost 70 lbs or more. His hip has been hurting like mad. Same thing, center of gravity has shifted. So he went to a chiropractor and that helped some. He got better shoes and that has helped a lot. He went to a place called Run On where they fitted him for shoes based on his walk, and the hip is a bit better when he wears them. I'd do the doc first, and if they don't know what it is, then chiro may be next resort.
ReDbEaN 654 Posted December 2, 2013 I don't have severe pain, but I have been hurting of late...I'm thinking changing the way I carry myself now...hopefully. I know my legs hurt every night and it's not muscle pain...
