Essence33 90 Posted December 1, 2013 Can I have wine after a while? I know soda is excluded, so once in a while can I drink a glass of wine?
becogolfer 68 Posted December 1, 2013 That depends. When was your surgery? I was allowed alcohol in moderation about 4 months out. I usedto have 1-2 beers a month but the carbonation makes it less pleasant now so 1-2 x a month i have a glass of wine with absolutely no problems. 1 Essence33 reacted to this
Bronco0605 135 Posted December 1, 2013 My doc says says no alcohol ever. But different docs have different rules. 1 Essence33 reacted to this
Numenow 32 Posted December 1, 2013 Hi, Let me encourage you, try not to think so far ahead in the future of what you can and cannot have. This surgery will change you in ways only you will be able to tell. Most importantly, the sleeve is a tool to help make your dream of living happy and healthy a REALITY! I am willing to give up my popcorn and diet sprite....I'm firm on this now, perhaps in another 80 pounds I maybe tempted, but I really want to take care of this blessed tool that gives me another chance... deejay1383837872 17 Posted December 1, 2013 Yes you can have wine but in moderation. My surgeon said after two months. But keep in mind, alcohol will affect you differently. So when you drink wine for the first time, make sure you have a driver or drink at home to see how it affects you. A little can make you tipsy. 1 Essence33 reacted to this
