charmed096213 10 Posted November 30, 2013 Does anyone get really really sleepy after eating carbs??? I am 4 months out and do not eat any sugar but I was PMS ing one night and ate 4 french fries with in 5-10 mins i was out cold sleeping for 2-3 hours. Same thing happened when I tried to eat a piece of a pita pocket. Does this happen to anyone??

RPatt19720 64 Posted December 14, 2013 That is different. Have not experienced this at all. Damn breads will kill us all somehow.....
bigmamma78 0 Posted December 16, 2013 Even with a normal system, carbs turn directly into sugar!!!! So think about how quickly that sugar gets dumped into our RNY system. I am almost 4 years out and get very sleepy from carbs. Sometimes I get a headache and really grumpy, best to stick with meat and veggies!!
