Yes I did. It was about 45 grams. I stay around 45 to 60 grams for meat. It was probably 1/3 cup of cauliflower.

I think the eye is tricking you bc I think this is a small saucer plate, when I take pics if my food in my tiny plate I am shocked at how big it looks lol!

If you consider eating Indian food normal that is :)

So if you're worrying you won't be able to eat or enjoy your food or be normal? Here's what I made for lunch today. Brown rice for the kids, ground beef curry, cucumber/tomato/Greek yogurt salad, palak paneer (spinach. with a homemade cheese). Apart from the rice, all good for us sleevers to eat.

I sometimes see people thinking they won't enjoy food, or that they can only have baked chicken and steamed vegetables. SO not true. I make Indian, Thai, Ethiopian, Greek etc all the time.

What is true however, is that my two kids (23 and 13) and my husband and I all ate--and we finished about a fourth of the food you see here :)

Feel free to post pics of what you're enjoying today that is sleeve friendly.

My hubs luvs that food! I buy the frozen antre from Amy's. ..that's as good as it gets for now..Haha...sounds great!

My new lunch fav, and sometimes Breakfast too! The dietician at our surgeon's office showed us this as an appetizer option this summer at our last support group meeting so I made it to a meal serving, roughly 200 calories for both pieces!

2 Wasa crackers

4 TBSP fresh ricotta

Drizzle of Olive Oil

Drizzle of balsamic(I left this off for the pic bc mines a spray bottle and doesn't looks so pretty in pics lol)

Fresh basil

Salt & pepper

Thank you. Lately... my haunting thought is... "well you will never be able to enjoy food for the rest of your life."

That looks delicious! What is it?

I had chicken korma that I made in a crockpot and yellow squash "noodles" but I forgot to take a pic. Oopsie.

Do you have the what-cha-ma-call-it gizmo that takes veggies and makes a spiral noodles?

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

      2. BlondePatriotInCDA

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
