mokee 588 Posted November 29, 2013 I am 67 years old and yesterday i was 1 year post op . What a ride this year has been. I am so fortunate to have had the opportunity to have this surgery. I had blood work last week and all my numbers are in line. They are even better then they were before surgery. My family was so worried about me having this procedure but now they see how this has made such a positive effect on my life. I can get around so much better. My diabetes is so much improved. I am no longer incontinent. The list goes on and on. If anyone is afraid to have the surgery go for it. Just make sure you chose a good surgeon. By the way. I went from a size 24-26 to a size 14 pants and L tops. So much fun to shop. 5 ProudGrammy, Momonanomo, Scorpion11 and 2 others reacted to this
