Abigal 13 Posted November 29, 2013 I was super anxious about the day but I really took care of myself. Did not eat too much but practiced with a couple new foods and it went ok. Only regret, did not get my walk in, was in the kitchen all day.
MIJourney 490 Posted November 29, 2013 It's been so nice to enjoy holiday meals without overeating and feeling like I need a nap afterward!!
Mkak 251 Posted November 29, 2013 I definitely could have done better, but nothing a few good workouts this week can't fix. Hope everyone enjoyed themselves!
jdub81 8 Posted November 29, 2013 I'm just a week post op so I sent my mom and husband to a restaurant. i had to hear about every morsel they ate upon their return. Surprisingly, that didn't bother me as much as expected. 1 MisFit reacted to this
MisFit 10 Posted November 30, 2013 My pre-op liquid diet began the day before Thanksgiving AND I love to cook! It was only my husband and me, so he was content to eat a sandwich and his usual Snacks. I have been experimenting with various options for my shakes, and felt like a queen when I indulged in a cup of beef broth and later on - a sugar-free popsicle! Woo Hoo!!! I do believe my resolve to be compliant overcame my desire to eat as usual! The past couple of days I've been somewhat lethargic and spacey, and have had a headache - which I presume will be gone in another day or two. Stay tuned!
