Any February 2014 Sleevers?

Recommended Posts

I think I might be scale crazy too. I don't lose steadily. I'll lose 3 pounds 1 day and then nothing for 2 days. Is that typical?

I'm happy to report that the scale finally moved 1.2 lbs in the last two days in the right direction. So that puts me at a loss of 26.7 lbs since surgery day. YEAH!

Also excited about a bm but I spend a lot of time in the restroom.

I'm down 20 since Feb. 11 and 13 before surgery. I guess a slower weight loss compared to some, but I really notice the difference and so do others. I know we will all get there eventually. After six weeks, I still feel huge bouts of fatigue. Anyone else still have this going on?

Just got some in the cooler section with the lunchables near the bacon and string cheese type stuff and they have these roll ups called Revs too

This is what is for lunch. It's good. 13 grams Protein 160 calories and a nice variety. Found them @ Walmart. Very quick to grab & go. A must try!

I bought one of those but not sure if I'm supposed to eat the nuts ( 4 weeks out)

Curious about everyone's stats and what their surgeons and nuts have said about it. I'm 6 weeks out and down 35 pounds..at first my surgeon said it was too fast but it's slowed over the past 2 weeks and my nut said I'm right on track...how about you guys? How many weeks out and how many pounds lost?

I'm 6 weeks out as well and down 35 too keep them coming off is all I can say

I had a bittersweet NSV today. My wedding ring set has been sliding all around my finger over the last 2 weeks or so. To keep from loosing them. I had to wrap medical tape on the back. Going to have to figure out a better way to deal with this. I don't want to take them off. Will need to have them resized once I loose all my weight. But not sure what to do for now...

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Anyone had the TORe procedure? How did it go? How much weight did you loose?

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Your so close now! It's gonna be great :) Wishing you a speedy recovery and looking forward to seeing how it goes!

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
