SuperFab 689 Posted April 7, 2014 I eat fatty stuff and lose the next day. Like sausage and bacon. Or a hot link. Not often, but sometimes. I eat too few calories and stall out. Ugh.

I have noticed the same thing. I eat one bacon slice for Breakfast with some avocado chopped on top of it and I do great. But if I eat something with just a few carbs/calories I stall or even gain. Sarahjane79 397 Posted April 7, 2014 Do it!!! Go SJ go! I did! 3.8 miles for the day. I think I found my new obsession... walking/working out. 1 Jencovi reacted to this
Sarahjane79 397 Posted April 7, 2014 I've also noticed if I lower my cals for a day or two then go back up to 7-800 cals i lose easier. I always average about 25-35 g of fat a day. Maybe that's why I haven't really stalled(had a 3 week stall but it was short) or didn't gain even during my period?
SuperFab 689 Posted April 7, 2014 Yup. And pooping helps. Staying regular keeps everything moving along 2 Darianna75 and Sarahjane79 reacted to this

I'm the same way! And I lose more on the days that I don't exercise...last week I only worked out hard for 1 day, lost 4 lbs. the 2 wks before that I worked out an hour a day 5 days a week and barely lose a lb a week. I'm guessing due to gaining muscle? But I think eating something fatty every now and then helps break the routine up.
Jencovi 261 Posted April 7, 2014 I had a massage on Saturday. My massage therapist is also an acupuncturist (but doesn't practice at the doctor's office I see her at). I was telling her about the stalls and how my weight loss has slowed. She told me about some ancient eastern medicine theory that losing weight causes you to hold on to phlegm and mucus. So she told me she was going to do some extra work on my lymph nodes. She told me I would lose better this week. I'm not sure how the voodoo magic she did workds but after a long stall and then three weeks of losing a pound a week or less, I'm down three pounds since Saturday. Also I am having a constant clear runny nose. I usually get that during my massage and right after. But this has been pretty non stop. It's a little annoying but nothing awful. I'm not sick. So I thought I would share because I think it's interesting. 1 Sarahjane79 reacted to this

cwang2680 79 Posted April 8, 2014 Didn't feel well today. Called the surgeon's office today. Discussed my whole Vitamin situation & the MA said just keep trying different Vitamins until you find one the works. Doesn't matter if it's chewable or Gummy. Any vitamin is better than no vitamin. Also I'm not getting all my Water in so she encouraged me to work on that. That could be the stall issue. I'm lucky to get half in, in a day. Some disgustingly exciting news. Had a great BM today & made me drop (lol) 1 lb. Very tired today. 2 SuperFab and Jencovi reacted to this
skennedy1012 26 Posted April 8, 2014 Good morning all. Well I am glad to report after a slow two weeks I finally dropped 6lbs. My goal has been 4-6lbs per week but I keep telling self not to get frustrated it can get made up. I have been drinking a cup of bold coffee everyday. The warmth and caffeine have been helping with the bathroom issues and becoming regular. I think this is also the longest I have ever gone without a bread product. Having trouble getting all my Water in lately. My focus is to do better on that. Glad to see all the progress everyone is making. Anyone, like me, and refusing to buy new clothes? I want to be 80lbs down and have a ways to go.

I want to be 80lbs down and have a ways to go. I'm really trying not to buy new clothes but I'm lucky. I have a friend who had the sleeve and is a few sizes below me so she gives me the things she's outgrown. Lol. I am going to have to buy new panties, though. Instead of them going OUT with my big tummy, my tummy has shrunk so they go UP. Seriously. Talk about granny panties!!!
