I'm nervous but getting excited! I'm more nervous about the iv needle I dislike that the most! I'll be up at 8 for sure because I have to find a way through the snow to get to the hospital! Keep us posted!

Oh man. No snow for me! Thank goodness. I'm stressed enough with easy weather and being five miles from the hospital. I also hate IVs. We can start a club with SF.

It looks like I'm on task for Feb, no date yet as I just met with surgeon today for the first time and got all the hoops I need to jump through first<br> My question: do you absolutely have to love your surgeon? I wasn't feeling my surgeon today, should I switch?? Help

You don't have to love your surgeon, but you want to feel confident with them and comfortable. I personally met with mine a second time to get a feel, and did a little more research. Our personalities were very different but he was considered one of the very best bariatric surgeons within the Northeast so I stuck with h and am so glad I didn't switch just because we were so different because my results have been amazing. Best of luck to you and please keep us updated

Thanks SJ. We are leaving now. Check in in 25 minutes. Gosh. My stomach hurts from anxiety/hunger and is making the greatest noises. Lol.
