BrownDoesAll 409 Posted November 26, 2013 Never ! It is impossible not to lose in the begining. However u can gain it all back if u don't stay focused be mindful of your eating. WLS is not a miracle cure its a tool that u use to lose weight and keep it off 1 Lilrosie reacted to this
EarthyGoalie 253 Posted November 26, 2013 I'm wondering if anyone GAINED weight during the first few months...
UK Cathy 977 Posted November 26, 2013 People have been known to gain during the first couple of weeks as their body recovers from the op, some have an immediate stall but I don't think anyone has reported a gain more than a month out. Everyone is different and as it has been suggested before we should report our loss as a % of the weight we want to loose as this is a better measurement than just reporting lbs. 1 EarthyGoalie reacted to this
cathycnyrs 85 Posted November 26, 2013 I came home from the hospital 12 lbs heavier! It is very normal, after being pumped full of fluids. It was 10 days before I started dropping the excess, and I started losing 2-3 lbs a day... Until week 3, I had lost 13 lbs and hut the stall.
Lilrosie 34 Posted November 26, 2013 Because I'm so short (5'0") I can tell MOST of the time when I've lost weight.....that being said my plan (as of right now) is to stay off the scale till I "notice" a difference. (this is what she's saying pre-op ha ha) 1 krystalherrington reacted to this
