Homosexual Liberal Atheists ~ What's UP with that?

Recommended Posts

Is is just me, or does this title fit a good portion of the people that post in the Rant & Raves? Personally, I am a Heterosexual Conservative, God-fearing Christian, but to each their own. Before you get all froggy & jump, I have many friends from all walks of life & that includes homosexual liberal.....well, I don't know any atheists.

Basically, I just wanted a reason to post this pic. Ya'll can Rant & Rave about it. Have fun & I'll enjoy reading.

Maybe if you were a God Loving Christian instead of a God fearing Christian you would love your neighbor as you love thyself as Jesus commanded.

And when you get to Heaven if the Lord decides to bestow that on to you, will you still be heterosexual? Will you still be Conservative? Will I still be Liberal? Will you Love me?

No, it's just you. Most of us are hetrosexual Christians. Some are Liberals....some are not. There are a few Atheists and a smattering of gay folks. Some of them are Conservatives....some are not.

I'm a heterosexual liberal atheist, and I know I couldn't do what's pictured if my life depended on it! :)

Heterosexual liberal atheist, 2/3 isn't bad. Alexandra, I *wish* I could do what's pictured, because that would mean my stomach was all gone! :faint:

It's just you.

While there are a lot of liberals in this area, there is a wide variety within that group. I personally am heterosexual, married and Christain.

I am liberal, I know that. I am heterosexual, but love homosexuals. Not sure what that means, besides I am non-judgemental. Not quite atheist, I think I believe in God. I asked him some advice on whether to be a believer or not, and I am still waiting for him to get back with me on that one. Maybe he lost my number in his PDA.

What difference does it make?

Why go and ask such an ignorant question? I say this is a brazen attempt to start crap.

If you had actually read any of the posts you would see that we are passionate people from all walks of life.

I would say that the liberals are not the ones depicted in that cartoon.

I am a liberal, heterosexual atheist with many homosexual friends. I also have a valued friend who has right wing views and is a homophobe. He is undecided as to whether he believes in Intelligent Design or not; this fellow does not attend any church, however, although he did have his kids baptised in the Anglican church.

Though we are radically different, we occasionally find ourselves sharing a viewpoint. This is part of the value of freedom of speech, I reckon, for it does engage us all in intellectual growth.

Your cartoon was silly but you have prompted an array of interesting responses and so it has met your stated goal. Thanks for posting it.:)

I'm convinced this thread was ghost written by Ron Cusano. I think Ron was starting to get bored because few people were biting on his "trolling" attempts on the other thread.

As for me, I'm a liberal, atheist, gay, black whale. Will you be my friend?

Yes, oh yes! But only if you like Canadians!

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.
