Okay so I was sleeved on 10/23 but have only really taken 2 normal poops. They hurt to come out... Lol and a few times a week ill have a diareah sesh. When it's like al of a sudden I need to go. Is it normal to have very little bowel movements? I mean I have no desire to go at all besides the diareah when it hits

I'm 13 months out and seem to have evened out at twice a week now - and if I don't take a stool softener, boy does it hurt..

I was wondering about that today . I had surgery on Monday and thought okay I'm peeing but what about number 2. Did your first occurrence happen abruptly? Also I'm on liquids til week 5 will that make a difference?

Yep. Before sleeve I could count on a very loose (sometimes urgent) one, generally first thing in the morning. Thanks, Absent Gallbladder. Now for the first time in years I can go a few days. As a matter of fact I am pondering which stool softener or Fiber concoction to take today. I'm sure it's because at this stage there's no Fiber in my diet.
