Food Gets Cold Eating This Slow

Recommended Posts

I am eating my eggs or Beans or whatever, one bite at a time, spacing out my bites about every 5-10 min. By the 2nd or 3rd bite, my food is cold. Is this just my reality now? Not complaining, just wondering if anyone has figured a better way.

I read so many reviews that I can't remember where I read it, but I remember someone mentioning those little hotplate things that you can get to melt candles on. I think I've even seen them sold as mug warmers - something like this - http://www.amazon.com/Mr-Coffee-MWBLK-Mug-Warmer/dp/B000CO89T8/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1385170908&sr=8-1&keywords=mug+warmer

I bought a coffee cup warmer at bed bath and beyond for $5. My itty bitty plate fits on it okay and keeps it warm.

I went through the same thing. I just acclimated myself to eating cold food. Now, it's just a way of life to eat stuff that is room temp or straight out of the fridge. The benefit is that now I don't have to wait on the microwave to heat things up! :-)

I was just commenting to my husband today how tired I am of cold soup! So glad I checked this thread - I will put the little hot plate on my list!
