Ree 215 Posted November 22, 2013 This is one of the things I'm very concerned about, only because i'm already extremely moody, especially around that female time of the month. So not being able to eat isn't going to help. I'm expecting i'll be very moody and snap at the people around me but how long does that last for? When did you start to feel better emotionally to where you were not snapping at people anymore? like the littlest things can set me off and I completely lose my shit. Couple that in with no food and well lets just say that is not a good combination. Don't get me wrong, I'm not going to let that stop me from getting the surgery. I'm just trying to be real with myself and what I should expect during the pre surgery diet and post op.,
sharika 62 Posted November 22, 2013 I think it is different for everyone. I personally didn't notice any moodiness.
Ree 215 Posted November 22, 2013 I know that the moodiness has been one of my biggest problems with dieting in the past. I get very moody and then give in to foods that I know I shouldn't eat and it throws me off the diet completely. At least now I recognize this and hopefully I'll be able to come up with some strategies to cope with it and not turn to food to remove the irritability. I just hope the moodiness doesn't last very long because it is one of my biggest obstacles in overcoming obesity.
