wildlyme 42 Posted November 22, 2013 I'm on a full liquid diet and wonder how many calories I should be limited to. I'm meeting 60g Protein and will meet 64 ounces of Water. But I don't want to consume too many calories.
Fluffnomore 1,235 Posted November 22, 2013 I don't think there's a specific calorie goal at this point. I'm 4 weeks out and I have met my protein/water goals most days, and I have rarely gone over 800. Never over 900. Most days it's right between 650 and 750. Hope this helps. livvsmum 2,369 Posted November 22, 2013 My surgeon told me at that point not to even think about calories, but to focus on the liquid and the Protein. If you are getting that, you should be golden. To give you a point of reference, I'm 10 weeks post op and range between 450-650 cal/day.
Shells_Almost_There 357 Posted November 22, 2013 Protein goal and Water goal is what it's all about at this stage - don't worry about calories yet!
