Recommended Posts

This is gonna sound stupid, but does anyone have a old bell cell phone they want to get rid of cheap???? I'm locked into a STUPID bell plan that I'm paying for but the STUPID phone they gave me broke and they wont replace it!!!!:) So if I can find another bell compatable phone cheap, I can transfer the number and finish out the plan. THEN LEAVE BELL!!!!

Can anyone help??

That suck. I dont have anything, but you may aslo be able to buy a pre-paid phone package from Staples or a place like that and then activate the phone under your current plan.

Otherwise, ebay may have some phones.

Good Luck,

Andrew

EBay is a great suggestion. I have bought replacement phones on ebay myself because I didn't want to get hosed on my plan when my phone died.

Try www.craigslist.com as well. They are local and you don't have to pay shipping. I posted in the "wanted" section for a cheap cell phone for my daughter after hers broke and someone gave her one for free - wouldn't even let me pay the postage.

Cloe, I had the same thing happen to me. After complaining to numerous people at Bell, someone who had the authority, told me to pick up a phone at the Bell center. I had to pay for it but Bell cut my monthly payment in half until the phone was paid for. It's the squeaky wheel that gets the oil so start squeaking!!! Oh by the way, this did not extend my contract with Bell.

Good Luck

Thanks everyone.

Wheezy, I've been squeaky!! I have even FINALLY figured out a way to get through the maze and reach a supervisor. The problem is, the supervisor never answers and you always get there voice mail. So I have left 6 messages asking for them to call me, they never do. I'm pissed. I am locked into a plan until July 2009!!!!!! They will give me $200.00 towards a new phone but then I have to sign up for another 3 years. SCREW THAT!!! BTW, my plan is for 4 phones, so it's not like just a couple of dollars. I hate them!!!!

Oh, that felt better:) . I feel a couple pounds lighter getting that off my chest!

I feel your pain Cloe. The company of BELL is an evil, sneaky, insiduous empire and all their employees are nothing more than SOBs who are lower than the dirt under the belly of a newt.

I won't even get into the issues I've had with Bell...it raises my blood pressure too much to even just think about it; making my veins turn purple and my head wanting to explode.

I HATE BELL too.

Oh Cloe how I wish bitching was a way to lose those pounds. I would probably be as skinny as Kate Moss. :)

I thought I had an old bell cell phone but it's broken as well. The whole process of trying to talk to real people at Bell is hell, and then once you get them it is hardly worth it.

ugg... didn't Bell buy Aliant? I think I'm technically with them too then. Luckily I didn't have to sign a contract. My only other choice was Rogers, and they are fine when you're in or around a 'metro' area, but going out of town with it was always a pain.

I must be the Queen of B....ing. Do you want me to call for you. I don't know how I got the deal I got. I wasn't so successful with Bell ExpressView. I had a satellite dish with them and as much as I complained and was unhappy with the service they still took me for 2 months worth of satellite TV that I never used which totaled 148 dollars before taxes. That was after I already signed a contract for my cell phone or they would have never gotten my business. I think that we are on the right track to stay away from them. By the way, my Internet and cable are now with the local cable company, NOT WITH BELL

Ya, Down with Bell!!!

It's funny, I use to get these courtesy calls every few months, telling what a wonderful valuable customer I was, (I have 4 cell phones, 2 land lines, and 2 bell satellites), ever since this incident, which was before Christmas, not a single call. Cause you know if and when they ever call.......THEY ARE GONNA HEAR ABOUT IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What has always worked for me in getting new phones with Rogers and Bell is to talk to them... how long is left on your plan? Ask them why they treat new customers better than the people who are already paying their bills? As for retention Customer Care, if you don't have too long left on your contract they need to tell you what it would cost to buy out the contract there is a max they can charge you regardless of the contract length and that formula is$20 per month up to $200.

But I have found if I am polite and ask the big question, why are you treating a paying customer like crap? Tell them what services you have with them such as home phone, sateliite etc etc. Make them see you as a valued customer. I haven't paid for a phone with Rogers or Bell in the last 10 years or so.

Good luck just don't lose your temper with them then they get nutty..

Hi Cloe,

Call and ask for their "Resolution" department. Works magic. I even got a few months of free service when I told them how mad I was. Good luck:)

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

      2. BlondePatriotInCDA

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
