bobbiejones27 17 Posted November 19, 2013 Hi all, I am getting banded on November 26th. This was a very big decision for me and I am so excited that my surgery date is just around the corner. I have been yo-yo dieting for years and as I get older it has just been harder and headset to keep the weight off. It has been so great hearing everyone's experiences and I saw some other low BMI bandsters from back in July and August. Would love to hear back from anyone as to how you are doing after these past few months and if there is any newbies out there about to go through this with me. . Best wishes everyone! FLORIDAYS 3,040 Posted November 19, 2013 I wasn't a low BMI bandster when I started. But I am now. . And it's my opinion the band is doing exactly what I expected it to do once I got to goal.... Keep the weight off. Granted I need to be smart with when And how often i splurge but so far it's working fine. I would think I it will work for you too, good luck,
bobbiejones27 17 Posted November 20, 2013 Congratulations FLORIDAYS on being a low BMI bandster!! When did you get banded? Have you reached your goal weight now and just trying to maintain? I know everyone is different but just curious on how many times you had to fill/unfill to be comfortable. And once a goal weight is reached how to maintain. Thanks for the feedback. It's so encouraging hearing your success. Though I know it's not an easy road but you prove it can be done. . Congrats again! What an accomplishment.
