Ingredients 1/2 lb pork cut up for stewing (I’m trying to make smaller quantities, you could use a lb and double everything else below) 2 small chopped roma tomatoes 1 chopped jalapeno pepper OR Substitute 1 can of Rotel tomatoes for the fresh tomatoes and jalapeno) 1/2 c frozen pearl onions OR 1/4 c chopped fresh onion 1 small sweet potato cut into four large pieces 1 can green chile, chopped 1/4 tsp ground cumin 1/2 tsp ground coriander 1/2 tsp chipotle pepper (ground) 1 tsp salt Method Place all ingredients into a crockpot and cook on high for 5 hours or on low for 8 hours. My mom made me cook one meal a day since I was 14 so I've been cooking for a long time. In India we don't use recipes so you have to learn to get a feel for food. So I make these up. sophiepants 489 Posted November 19, 2013 That's amazing what a great way to learn spices and foods. I too cooked a lot when I was young. My dad worked a lot and our mom passed when I was 2. So I cooked for my sister and dad. Not as often as one meal a day and I never adventured as much with food. You come up with some great stuff.
