shannon26 41 Posted February 27, 2014 My surgery date is March 12th and I'm going this Saturday to get a tattoo for my journey still kinda back and forth between which one I want lol but the one I'm leaning more toward is a quote " find joy in the journey" with a dandelion blowing in the wind, it kinda makes me think that I know there will be good/bad days but the joy of it all is I will get to a happy place somewhere in my journey! enjoyinglife 313 Posted February 27, 2014 Great question. I do not have any tattoos, but I would consider getting one to mark the occasion of having WLS.

terry1118 1,274 Posted March 8, 2014 I will be getting a tattoo. I'm the only one in my family who doesn't have one. I designed my husband's and will be designing my own. I'm thinking long and hard about what it will be and where it will go. You don't rush something that's so permanent! 1 paigelarson89 reacted to this

aayers88 31 Posted October 9, 2014 Like a symbol of some sort to support your journey??? I was thinking of making one or looking one up after my surgery... How about y'all? I am having plastic surgery in November and I'm considering that to be my "final phase" of my journey... Once I am healed of that I was thinking about having my heaviest weight tattooed on my ribs or something so that I never forget how far I have come... Idk. But I've thought about it as well.
