Cold Hands And Feet?

Recommended Posts

I've lost circa 78.04lbs since January - very happy about that. But I suffer from cold hands and cold feet. Is this normal? Does it get better?

I am not sure if it's normal but I suffer from the same thing. I have had blood work done to see if I am anemic which I am not. I was advised to dress in warmer clothes.

Same with me. It has gotten better, but my feet tend to stay cold all the time.

I have this too, but I don't think anything changed after surgery. I think I just have poor circulation. However, in some cases it could be a thyroid issue.

By the weekend here in NY they are talking about the temp going up to the 50's...you know it's a bit cold out there when 50 seems warm.

I'm not minding though, keeping my boots on and layering up...the cold is stopping the plague that's going around from spreading. As I type this there are 3 people coughing in surround sound like they have some kind of gross cough machine stuck in their chest.

Upping my Vitamin C, Zinc and B12 and hoping they go home and rest!!

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.

I would like to know what questions you wish you had asked prior to your duodenal switch surgery?
