bluegirly 343 Posted November 10, 2013 I was self pay for my surgery (I wasn't heavy enough for long enough....grrrr) and I thought I saw a post a while back about fills. Someone said even though insurance didn't cover the surgery, they were covering her fills. Is this happening with anyone? Any ideas on how I can get my insurance to spring for the fills? Because it's not considered a medical necessity and denied the surgery itself, you're pretty much at their mercy. If I were you, I'd contact them and find out what their stance is and if there is any way they will cover it. Good luck.
