rls41998 91 Posted November 11, 2013 I'm a week out today. Had my first post op bm today! OMG should've taken stool softeners! I would recommend stool softeners to anyone who has this procedure! back2barb78 890 Posted November 11, 2013 I'm 5 weeks out and that has been my only problem. It's strange that some people have diarrhea- and I don't know which is worse! I didn't have a BM til a week and a half postop and it was tear jerking. I asked if I could take something and my nutritionist said if needed MOM was ok, which doesn't cause me any cramps or uncomfortable sensations.
